Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and a US or Canada resident to use this service.

Data Submission & Use Disclosure

By submitting your data or participating in this offer or program, you affirm:

1. You are at least 18 years old
2. The data is correct and not in any way fraudulent, synthetic, spam, spyware, malware, invasive, or malicious
3. The documents you submit are your own, you have the legal right to share them (including any information about spouses, dependents, or other individuals contained therein), and you are exercising that right

By participating in this program, you agree that we will collect certain tax information and related data from you to be de-identified and then, otherwise, promptly deleted (unless you opt in to original document retention). De-identified information may be used by us or another party in that form for evaluation and training of products and services.

Original Document Retention

You may optionally choose to allow us to retain your original (non-redacted) document for an additional payment. By opting in:

• You grant us a perpetual, royalty-free license to use your original document for AI research and model training
• You retain the right to request deletion of the original document at any time
• Upon deletion, the de-identified version will be retained as it is no longer your personal information
• The bonus payment for retention is non-refundable regardless of subsequent deletion

Compensation

Compensation is provided only for valid, approved submissions. Payment structure:

• Base Payment: Paid for each approved submission
• Retention Bonus: Additional payment if you opt in to original document retention
• Referral Bonus: Earned when someone you refer has their submission approved

Payment amounts and timing are at our discretion. We reserve the right to modify payment amounts at any time.

Notice of Financial Incentive

We offer financial incentives for providing your data:

• Base Payment: For submitting an approved tax document
• Original Retention Bonus: For allowing us to retain your original document
• Referral Bonus: For referring users who complete approved submissions

Value Calculation: These payment amounts are reasonably related to the value your data provides for AI compliance research. The value is estimated based on data acquisition costs in the market, the utility of tax documents for AI model training, and operational costs of processing submissions.

Participation: You may withdraw from these programs at any time by:

• Not submitting additional documents
• Requesting account deletion
• Contacting support@ankadata.org

Withdrawal does not require return of previously paid amounts. However, you will no longer receive payments for future referrals or submissions.

Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of your original documents. By submitting documents, you grant us a license to process, de-identify, and use the de-identified versions for research purposes. If you opt in to original retention, you grant us an additional license to use the original for AI training purposes.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of this service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you have been paid through this service.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. Material changes will be communicated via email.
